An introductory look at the history of 3D printing, how the technology works, its possible uses and benefits, and options available on the market. Teachers, Administrators, and anyone interested in education are invited to join us for this session that explores the following:

  • How does a 3D printer work?

  • Why should educators be interested in bringing 3D printing into their classes?

  • Where does one begin?

  • Which products are the best fit for my school?

A. No experience necessary.

A: No devices necessary.


Q: What do I have to do?

A: This event is a presentation where you mostly sit and receive information, although there may be some audience participation opportunities. Questions are always welcome.


Q: Am I required to purchase any apps or programs to participate?

A: The supporting apps and programs are either free to download or web-based. Some may require signing up for free accounts.


Q: Are you selling or marketing specific brands?

A: We do not sell 3D printers or have exclusive relationships with any particular brand. We believe in looking for best fit when it comes to technology selection.
