Introduction to 3D Design

In this introductory tutorial to Computer Aided Design (CAD), participants will learn how to make digital 3D objects using solid modeling. An emphasis will be placed on concepts common to all CAD programs, including navigating in a 3D environment, understanding dimensions, and moving between 2D and 3D design space.
The course will be taught on Onshape, a free, cloud-based CAD software comprable to many industry offerings. Attendees are required to bring their own computers for the class. Is it recommended to go to https://www.onshape.com/ to create a free account before the class.
Maximum class size is 10 people. Slots will be filled on first come basis, pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Instructor reserves the right to cancel class if fewer than three participants enroll. Minimum age for this class is 16.
