Let’s use games as a catalyst to pique their curiosity in computer science! Learn how to program through making their very own game!

Learn to code a game similar to the massive multiplayer Slither.io game. Players will control a snake which would consume colored dots in the game to grow in size; the objective of the game is to grow and defeat other snakes. However, if the player's snake's head collides into a part of another snake, the player loses the game and must start over.

We will utilise Construct 2, a game engine, to help us develop this game. It is a strong platform that allows for visual programming and allows the children to learn conditional programming concepts. They will develop stronger logical cognitive abilities via the usage of if and then statements, loops, and local and global variables.

Key Learning

Students will learn about events & actions, layout and layers. We will explore objects and variables, utilise collision boxes, introduce randomness into the game and import sound effects into the game.

About Us

We offer specialised programming coureses for children aged 8-14. We teach your children how to build their very own app and game (which they can bring home to show you)!
