Introducing the Director of the Midwest Regional USPTO

With support from the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, and Barnes & Thornburg, ChIPs is thrilled to welcome Mr. Damian Porcari to Indianapolis to address the Indianapolis IP Community and Indy Chipsters.

Mr. Porcari will provide a presentation on the USPTO and latest developments in the Office, along with Patent Trial and Appeal Board updates. The discussion will dive into his latest and greatest thoughts on Section 101 and the USPTO’s Revised Patent Subject Matter Eligibility Guidance published in 2019. He is also eager to learn from the local business and IP community about what they need and how the USPTO might help.
