After the huge success of Women's Storytelling Night Events and tremendous community interest in Storytelling in the Nyack Area, Storytelling Event Producer, Musician, Performer, Poet/Storyteller and Educator Katie Elevitch is launching a series of Storytelling Workshops in the Summer of 2017 and Beyond for those of all genders and ages.

$20 Fee helps to support the creation of Storytelling Events and Workshops in the Hudson Valley.

This Intro to Storytelling Workshop for Adults will help those of all levels and experience delve deeper into their personal stories.

We will:
1) Learn how to choose our stories to develop and share
2) Practice sharing and telling our stories in a supportive environment
3) Learn how to better structure and prepare our stories for the stage
4) Learn how to perform your story and connect with the audience
5) Have an opportunity to become a Featured Open Mic Contributor at a future Storytelling Event in 2017-2018 Season.

For those interested in future Storytelling Workshops, it is recommended that an Intro Class be taken first. An additional Intro Class will be held in the Fall. Special Exceptions can be made upon further discussion with the instructor.
