Event description

Description

“I now know that this is something I can do, and that it doesn't need to be intimidating or out of reach. I feel fuller as a person for having had the experience.” - Intro class graduate

The stories we tell, to others and ourselves, create the reality in which we live. Shouldn’t we better understand storytelling and how we can harness that tool for good? There is a depth of hope, despair, magic, and evolution in your everyday stories that make for a powerful narrative you can share with yourself and the world around you.

Campfire’s mission is to elevate everyday voices and we are proud to offer another session of Intro to Storytelling. This 6-week class is an opportunity to develop your storytelling skills which can be utilized in your personal and professional life. The course offers a foundational knowledge of story, its role in our lives, and how you can own your story.

"I learned how to organize my stories, and find a voice and boldness in sharing them." - Intro class graduate

Some additional benefits of taking Intro to Storytelling:

  • You will learn how to tap into your authentic voice

  • You will have a moving, personal talk ready to be delivered

  • You will receive personal attention with individual notes

  • You will get an audio recording of your story at a closed, intimate storytelling event for your class.

  • You will get to connect with a group of interesting people on a similar path of self-improvement and skill building.

  • You can take our Advanced Storytelling class which gives you a chance to deepen your storytelling abilities and includes a public event, podcast episode, and event photos.
