About this event
Participants will receive a shearing guide to keep for reference as well as several hours of watching and assisting the shearer. Participants can come on Friday afternoon as well as Saturday- all day. On the 2nd day, you can bring your sheep to practice shearing under supervision. This is hard work and is tough on your back. The fee is $100. Friday is optional- starting at 2pm. Saturday at 10am until the sheep are all sheared.
Shearing is one skill that is almost unknown in our culture and we're always in need of new shearers.
