Intro to Seedlings meeting (for prospective parents)

Seedlings (ages 3-6) and Little Seedlings (ages 2-3) 

A play-based learning environment that nurtures imagination, science and nature exploration, arts expression and literacy, while giving children and parents tools for empowered communication and peaceful problem-solving skills. Adults practice parenting skills through hands-on participation and receive ongoing mentoring and support.

Seedlings and Little Seedlings 3-Step Application Process

We’ve designed the application process to ensure your family and Sunflower are a good fit for each other. Everyone applying is required to complete three steps (in order):

Step 1

Attend an in person Introduction to Seedlings meeting. During this meeting, you’ll learn about Sunflower’s educational philosophy. If you have questions about anything Sunflower-and Seedlings-related, this meeting is where you’ll find your answers. This meeting is for adults only, babies in arms are also welcome.

Step 2

Schedule a Visiting Day with your child. Prospective Seedlings/Little Seedlings and their parents must attend a visiting day before applying. This visit is important, as it will determine if the program meets everyone’s needs. Visitor fee is $40 per child. Call 561 501-6615 to schedule.

Step 3

Complete Application and Pay Application Fee. Online application form is available to fill out after attending the Intro Meeting and attending a visiting day with your child. Application does not ensure enrollment. An Application Fee, which covers the administrative costs of processing your application, is $50 per child and is non-refundable.
