Pre-requisites: None. This class is created for students with zero coding experience learning from scratch.

What to bring: Your own laptop with WiFi enabled and Notebook. Note you will need to download software during the training.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the Python programming language from scratch.

Python is a general-purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented, and high-level programming language. It’s a very popular language and very helpful to data analysts.


Meet your instructor

Wen Tang, is a data analyst, python developer, and SQL BI developer who has many years of industrial experiences. Wen Tang finished her Masters of Science in Electrical and Computer Programming from UIC several years ago. During her studies, she had internships as a Python developer in IBM and a real-estate company in Chicago & has worked as a data analyst for several years.
