Intro to Pickleball Clinic - A Class for Players who are Brand New to the Game

Hey gang. Clinton Young here, Certified Pickleball Coach, Founder of Pickleball 4 Life, and new Pickleball Pro at Pickleball Training Center. I'm looking forward to bringing you lots of new fun Pickleball programming.

My Intro to Pickleball class is designed for new players looking to learn the fastest growing sport on the planet! We will get you playing real games immediately.

Pickleball is most widely played in the doubles format (2 on 2). So we will focus on learning the scoring, rules and basic positioning/strategy for doubles.

What will I learn in this class?

In this class, you will:

• Learn the basic rules so you can play full games with your friends
• Practice the most important shots to be successful playing Pickleball
• Play full Pickleball games
• Walk away with a solid foundation of knowledge and awareness to continue growing
• Experience a new sense of confidence in what’s possible for your Pickleball game
• Have tons of fun!

*This class is NOT for people who have played more than 10 times and are comfortable with the rules and scoring. Please only sign up if you are completely new or have played a handful of times and want to learn the rules/scoring better.

How do I register and reserve my spot for this class?

Select the class day and time that works best for you from multiple options. I purposely keep these classes very small (no more than 8 people) in order to provide you with the best experience possible. Feel free to invite 3 of your friends and I’ll teach the 4 of you together in class whenever possible. Whether you sign up by yourself or with a group of friends, this class is a great way to learn this amazing sport and have tons of fun in the process. Minimum class size is 4 people.

What to bring?

• Bring water, and sunscreen, hat or other protective clothing so you’re comfortable.
• A good pair of court shoes are also very helpful if you have them but not required (tennis or Pickleball court shoes are best because they provide the right level of support). Don’t worry if you don’t have them to start.
• Also, please bring your paddle if you have one. If you don’t yet have one, I have plenty of paddles for you to borrow for this session and can recommend a great paddle depending on your needs.

Can I retake this class?

Yes you may retake this class if you want to continue growing your confidence and skills before playing in a social setting.

Should I take this class if I’ve already taken other classes?

YES! If you’re a newbie and want to continue growing your confidence and your skills, then you will always learn more from a new instructor.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

This is a highly sought after class so please only cancel if you have an absolute emergency. There are no refunds for canceling this class. If you have an emergency, we will move your registration to a future date when possible. Something exciting that comes up is NOT an emergency. Death in the family, sick child etc, are emergencies. Please be in proactive communication with me for any emergencies.
