Event Details

Video content is an essential tool for musicians trying to reach an audience, and an exciting collaborative opportunity for filmmakers and visual artists. The BerkleeNYC Intro to Music Video Workshop is a three-day, hands-on intensive specifically focused on capturing musical performance. Utilizing the legendary Power Station studios as locations, and touring artist and Berklee alum Matt Nakoa '06 as video subject, students will be taken through the entire process of creating an original performance video - pre-production, production, and post - culminating with a class video screening.

The BerkleeNYC Intro To Music Video Workshop is the perfect opportunity for any musician or burgeoning video artist looking to expand their knowledge and gain real-world experience in this exciting medium.

He also plays a mean saxophone. Together, Nick and Mike have produced dozens of music based projects, including narrative videos, studio shoots, live performances, documentary projects and artist EPKs. Their music videos have been nominated for numerous awards, with Melissa Ferrick's 'Home' taking the Right Out TV Music & Video Award for Best Folk/Country/Jazz Video.
