Intro to Modern Brush Calligraphy

If you are interested in learning modern brush calligraphy in a fun and relaxed environment, this workshop is for you! Brush calligraphy utilizes specific pens/markers that have flexible tips which allow you to create beautiful calligraphy strokes. This workshop is best suited for a beginner. Come solo or bring a friend, and feel free to byo!

In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn:

• tips and tricks for proper brush pen use

• the basic calligraphy strokes

• how to build letterforms

• how to use letters to build words

All necessary materials will be included: 2 small brush pens, 1 large brush pen, 35 page workbook by Penned by Pervin, practice paper, and a blank greeting card for practice.
