Intro to Hand Quilting: Hand-Stitched Potholder with Margaret Dugger
Overview
2-Part Workshop
Date: Tuesday December 9 and Thursday December 11, 2025
Time: 1pm-4pm
Description: In this two-day workshop, learn the basics of hand-stitched piecing, quilting, and binding! Participants will create their own potholder, or mini-quilt, to take home. Together we will learn to cut pattern templates, cut out fabric, make a hand stitched patchwork top, and then quilt and bind the finished pot holder. This class is a great fit for anyone who enjoys meditative hand stitching, portable projects, wants to learn more about hand sewing skills, is interested in quilting, or doesn't want to mess with sewing machines!
This is a beginner friendly workshop. No prior experience is expected.
