About this Event

POSTPONED! Check back later in the spring for rescheduled date.

Have you ever been surprised or confused by your gifted child's behavior? Mackintosh 5th and 6th grade teacher Tari St.Marie goes deeper into the gifted child's mind and how parents can support them.

Back by popular demand! Our fall event on this topic was such a success that we decided to offer it again - but it's not just a rerun. Tari will present new, more in-depth content to take your understanding even further. Whether you attended the first event or not, you will come away with new information about what makes gifted kids tick and how you can support them.

Tari has studied giftedness for 20+ years, and has a M.Ed in Gifted Education, as well as being the mother of three gifted children of her own. She will talk about many aspects of giftedness, from theories and neuroscience to characteristics that frequently occur among gifted students (and adults), common challenges, and some strategies to help ease them.

Don’t miss this chance to experience Tari’s wit and wisdom firsthand, and come away with a greater understanding of your own wonderful, mysterious, delightful, sometimes frustrating gifted children!
