Description

This workshop is structured in a series of lectures followed by hands-on sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the technical details of fNIRS instrumentation and principles of fNIRS for functional activation measurements. Note: Free lunch is provided on both days to registered guests.

  • Intro to fNIRS analysis covered by Dr. Ted Huppert*

Finish time: 4pm

Dr. Ted Huppert received his PhD from Harvard University under Dr. David Boas. He has written over 60 publications on fNIRS and multimodal data analysis techniques. Together with Dr Boas, Dr Huppert authored the original version of the fNIRS HOMER software. Dr Huppert’s new fNIRS toolbox extends these methods and offers improved statistical testing for task and resting state fNIRS experiments. This toolbox is available online
