Spend a day experiencing the many individual, group, and organizational benefits that can be yielded by using dialogue in the workplace as a vehicle for compassion, mindfulness, and interconnectedness.
Most of the top reasons that teams, departments, and organizations as a whole don’t live up to their full potential are caused by lackluster communication, or a total lack of communication. Some of the most systemically detrimental issues caused by these communication breakdowns are the following: Lack of trust in the workplace, scarcity of creative solutions, and an overall absence of shared vision.
The slower pace and nature of dialogue opens up space for more creative solutions, and also ensure that all stake holders are heard, understood, and valued, resulting in restored trust and a widespread sense of inclusion. This is done through shifting attention from improving the “parts” of an organization, to improving the relationships between the parts.
I believe strongly in the power of dialogue to transform individuals, relationships and groups of people; my goal is that at the end of this workshop, you’ll share the same belief. We live in a society saturated with technology, providing new ways communicate nearly every day, but as we expand the quantity of ways to connect, we lose the quality. Join me and other aspiring dialogue practitioners for a day of highly interactive learning as we discover how to practice and restore a more quality style of communication in our organizations.
