Event description

Description

If you think you’ve exhausted the possibilities of painting a specific subject, such as flowers, think again. Chances are you’ve not yet experimented with Chinese watercolor painting–a style that is beautiful to behold, and will be taught in a low-pressure environment that is about the journey as well as the results.

Learn the basics of beginning Chinese brush painting, as well as how Chinese watercolor materials differ from regular watercolors: the brushes, the paint, and the paper. Plus, there's the ink, and even how to hold and move the brush! Consider this workshop a primer or introduction to the medium.

Two types of tickets are available for this event:

  • pay $65 up front via credit card
  • pay $30 upfront via credit card and $30 CASH at the event for a $5 discount

Be sure to scroll down to see the full image of the painting as EventBrite crops the photo in the header above.

Since supplies are not included, I've reduced the registration fee to help defray the cost of supplies. A kit for class will be available for purchase at Art on the Columbia. We're working out price details now. Stay tuned.

FYI, I do have a cancellation policy, which you can see here.
