This is a special SF Connect edition of our Intro to brSM: Full Platform training. All attendees who sign up for this training will receive a complimentary ticket to SF Connect, which starts the day after this training (June 12-13). In Intro to brSM, you’ll learn how to use the BloomReach Dashboard to manage search and category pages, as well as discover insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize your site experience. You’ll also learn how to create and utilize targeted audiences, add banners to your search and category pages, and A/B test ranking rules.

Some of the topics to be covered during training can include:

  • Rank products and types of products for search and category pages through boost and bury rules

  • Get insight into how BloomReach ranks a specific product for a search query

  • Control the terms in auto suggest search queries

  • Optimize your synonym list

  • Configure keyword redirects

  • Add banners for specific or a set of queries; configure campaigns by associating banners with specific queries and time periods

  • Manage facets and facet values for search and category pages

  • Create experiences for specific customers using targeted audiences

  • Use A/B testing to understand the impact of changes on your site

  • Discover your organization's top opportunities to improve search and category pages

  • Analyze the performance of individual search, category, and product pages

  • Understand which search and category pages are underperforming, and see recommendations for improving them

  • Understand your customers’ behavior and the customer journey

  • Record and track your activities to track performance metrics for changes made to your site




Training runs from 8am - 5pm (with a 1-hour break from 12-1pm) and will be delivered in person with the Customer trainer. This training will include attendees from several customers, and therefore is conducted in generic data (i.e. not specific to an individual customer).
