Step into the world of digital sound with this beginner-friendly workshop focused on Audacity, a free and powerful Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) compatible with both Mac and PC. Whether you're interested in podcasting, music production, sound design for animation, or voiceover editing, this workshop is the perfect starting point. You'll learn how to navigate the Audacity interface, record and import audio, and use essential tools for editing, cutting, layering, and mixing sound. The workshop will also cover key effects such as fade in/out, equalization, pitch shift, and reverb, giving you the foundation to enhance your audio creatively and professionally. You don't need any prior experience. Bring your curiosity, we’ll supply the equipment. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the skills to start your own audio projects with confidence using one of the most accessible DAWs available.
