Summary: An introductory course into the art of casting aluminum. Students learn the tools and procedures for preparing and casting an item in aluminum.
Description: In this course, each student will learn the basics of casting from MASS co-founder James Caudle.
The course will cover:
- Casting Safety and Concepts
- Preparing a Casting Flask
- Preparing the Flask for Casting
- Finishing the Cast Item
At the end of the class each student will have produced a custom item.
Ticket Sales end two days before the event begins.
Please be prepared to supply an contact phone number in case of last minute scheduling changes.
What sort of safety equipment is required?
Ear and Eye protection are required.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, please notify us before ticket sales end about any transfer of puchase.
What is the refund policy?
We will refund any ticket requested for any reason up to a week before the course runs, after that point we can only give credit to a future course. If the class cannot run as scheduled, for whatever reason, purchaser will have the option of a full refund or credit towards the makeup course.
Courses must sell a minimum of three tickets to run. If a course cannot sell three tickets, the students who have signed up will have the option to (a) reschedule (b) recieve a full refund or (c) pay an additional fee of $20 to receive a more intimate course with just two students and the instructor. This notification will be issued when ticket sales end, approximately 48 hours before the course.
