Description

Escape the winter blues by journeying "into the Afrosphere" with Ayiba Magazine, an award-winning African Diaspora publication. Ayiba is celebrating its five year anniversary and the launch of its latest print issue in style.

EVENT DETAILS

The evening will kick off with a COCKTAIL HOUR at 7pm serving Nigerian and Jamaican treats - oxtail patties, sweet potato patties, chicken suya, plantain chips and more. Creative cocktails will also be served.

Be sure to come early so you can check out our FREE AFRICAN HEAD WRAP corner sponsored by Dutch fabric company, VLISCO founded in 1846. (Learn how to rock an African headpiece from style guru, My Tignon who will be adorning guests with unique styles!)

Next, we'll have a mini GAME NIGHT where guests will be invited to participate in and WIN! There are 20 unique African designed PRIZES and GIFTS up for grabs.

Lastly, we'll have some CAKE and DANCE the night away with DJ THAT GUY SHY from 9pm.

Event will also feature a SELFIE BOOTH, so come ready to slay!

SPECIAL GUESTS include Toronto's own BLACK FOODIE, who is featured in our December Issue.

Event Planner: Vinyl & Confetti Inc.
