Both programs are from 1:15 pm to 5:00 pm with sign-in starting at 1:10 pm

All healthcare providers are encouraged to attend live, at one of our broadcasted sites, or through Zoom Technology

Program Objectives

  • Discuss three assessment tools to evaluate responses in veterans with dementia
  • Identify three interventions that can be applied to enhance well-being
  • Discern four causes of delirium and three ways in which delirium can present
  • Review three plans to better dietary intake
  • Compare and contrast models of bathing that can improve the bathing experience for the veteran with altered cognitive state
  • Enumerate three causes of sleep disruption and ways to promote good sleep
  • Summarize and discuss several benefits and programs available to veterans

Zoom Video Conferencing, provided through a partnership with Project ECHO-Nevada, will allow for rural providers outside of Elko, Las Vegas, and Reno to participate. Instructions for computer/laptop participation will be sent via email after registration is processed. Zoom desktop capabilities are available for those outside of the three city areas and those within the three cities if your city is sold out.
