Please join us on March 12th from 12-1PM EST for our next event, The Intersection of Climate & Social Justice Part II: Exploring Food Justice. This second part of the Intersection of Climate and Social Justice series, will aim to educate and inform our community about how climate factors and social inequities lead to food insecurity , food waste, and why there is a need for food justice.
Join us for a discussion with 4 speakers who will help us understand questions such as: "Why is only ~7% of food waste composted?" , "What is a food swamp?", "What is the history of food waste / food justice movement in the US?". Our speakers include:
