Our annual fall education program, previously known as Discovery Days, has a new face and format this year. Just as WA Women’s Foundation is pivoting toward more transformational influence and impact in our state, we are moving from two days of discovery to a single intense day of engaged and interactive conversation in the program now called Intersect. Building upon our 2016 program centered on race and gender, this year’s speakers, panelists and attending members and guests will engage in conversations around the societal forces that overlap and intersect in ways that often marginalize and hinder people, ideas and actions. Together we will explore how our very intentional philanthropy can be more inclusive, responsive and constructive in addressing the most compelling needs of the communities we seek to serve.
