During this conference an overview of interpersonal violence in the trauma population & its public health burden will be discussed. Methods for screening, assessment and intervention will be provided. Resulting PTSD and it’s effects on the patient and community will be highlighted. Finally, an understanding of compassion fatigue and burnout for HCP caring for this patient population will be reviewed.
