Speaker Bios:

Jim Walsh is co-founder and CEO of DSPolitical, a progressive online advertising firm specializing in voter targeted online communications. He is also a founding partner at Rising Tide Interactive, an online advertising and marketing strategy firm in Washingon, DC. He is a long-time preofessional in the online campaign industry, serving as SVP for Business Development at Salsa Labs from 2007-2010 and Regional Field Director for Ben Cardin for US Senate in 2006.

Jordan Lieberman joined CampaignGrid in 2010. Previously he spent five years as publisher of Campaigns & Elections magazine. Prior to C&E, Lieberman consulted on campaigns and advocacy programs in the United States and abroad, handling the direct mail and telephone advocacy programs for congressional and state house candidates. He managed numerous races throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Lieberman was among the first Americans to travel to Ukraine to assist the successful Presidential campaign of Victor Yushchenko, by training his campaign management team. Lieberman has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MPA from Columbia University. He frequently serves as an analyst for cable news and other media outlets around the country. He had a lead role in the movie “Electile Dysfunction” the BBC documentary "Tea Party America,” and the upcoming film “How to Get Elected in America.”

Alan Rosenblatt, Ph.D., is a digital communications and social media strategist, professor and thought leader with over 20 years’ experience in politics, advocacy, news media, and education. He is a partner at Turner Strategies, providing world-renowned training and strategic counsel to organizations seeking to use social and digital media more effectively. Together with Suzanne Turner, Alan founded the Internet Advocacy Roundtable in 2005—a monthly event focused on the intersection of the internet, advocacy, politics and the media. In 1995, he taught the world’s first university course on digital politics. He’s been teaching it ever since.

Alan is also the Ombudsmen and co-founder at Take Action News and an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins, American, Georgetown and Gonzaga Universities, where he teaches courses on internet politics. He was Associate Director for Online Advocacy at the Center for American Progress/CAP Action Fund from 207-2013, where he created and managed the Center’s social media program.
