International/EU Student Welcome to QMUL 2018

The International/EU Student Welcome 2018 introduces new students to living and studying in the UK and, specifically, at Queen Mary University of London. It is open to all international/EU students and is free to attend.

Information sessions and presentations will be run with lots of useful information- from registering with the Police, immigration advice and banking, to where to buy food, keeping fit and finding part-time work.

The International Student Welcome Programme will take place from Monday 17th– Friday 21st September 2018 and there will also be special social events taking place throughout the week so keep a look out for more information!

All new international/ EU students are invited and we hope that you decide to join us, however please be aware that if your academic department or school has scheduled meetings or events at the same time as the International Student Welcome Programme you must attend the school events as a priority.

If you are on an Erasmus or Associate / Study Abroad programme of 6 months or less, there will be a separate induction programme for you but you are still welcome to join any of the workshops as your schedule allows.
