1.5 Hour Yoga Session with Acclaimed Yoga Instructor + a Guided Meditation + Live Soulful Music + Delicious Vegan Treats
Come celebrate Yoga Day @LADome with us in a beautiful historic building and experience an afternoon guaranteed to stretch your muscles, open your heart and widen your smile!
June 21 was officially declared International Day of Yoga by the United Nations in 2015. The Art of Living Foundation and its founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, were huge supporters of this designation and global partners for the very first International Day of Yoga.
The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” which means “to unite or integrate”. Yoga is not only a physical exercise that increases flexibility and strength, it is an ancient spiritual practice that promotes the connection between the mind and body, a form of physical meditation.
The International Day of Yoga is an opportunity to recognize and enjoy the benefits yoga can bring to the mind, body, and spirit. Join us!

Music: Manish plays an explosive mix of rock, soul and world music fused with ancient Sanskrit chants. He puts a unique and modern spin on Kirtan, an age-old Indian practice of call and response chanting set to music. He started out playing at yoga studios, quickly gained popularity and, with his bands Bhakti and Butterthief, has performed everywhere from the Bonnaroo Festival and Lincoln Center to the United Nations and the Yoga Journal Conference. “Sound is vibration and the sounds that we chant are ancient, Sanskrit words that Rishis (holy men) have been chanting for over 5000 years, so there’s some energy, some power in just chanting these words,” says Manish.
