About the Facilitators:

Jill Daum

Jill Daum has been working as an actor and writer for over 35 years. She is one of the co-creators and performers of the internationally acclaimed plays: Moms the Word, Moms the Word Unhinged, Moms the Word ReMixed and Moms the Word Nest ½ Empty. The “Moms” shows have been seen by over a million people all over the world and translated into a multitude of languages. Jill also wrote the drama/comedy Forget About Tomorrow which premiered at the Arts Club Theatre and The Belfry in 2018. It’s a story close to home for her about a woman whose husband receives a diagnosis of early onset Alzheimers.

Jenifer Toksvig

Jenifer Toksvig Makes musical theatre that is sometimes immersive, often created by collectives, and occasionally interspersed with gaming. She is a combination of writer, deviser, director and producer. Jenifer is currently developing a structured form of storytelling and audience involvement which she calls The Copenhagen Interpretation, related to the view that every encounter between an audience member and any live performance on any given day in any given place at any given time is unique.

Gab Cody

Gab Cody is a story-generator across mediums. She writes and designs award-winning immersive experiences, independent film, and site-specific theater. She has been a guest lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University, Stanford University and the College of William and Mary. Her plays have been staged at the La Jolla Playhouse, Williamstown Theatre Festival, New York City’s New Dramatists and Urban Stages, Coconut Grove Playhouse, and at theaters in Seattle, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Sydney, Australia. Ms. Cody serves as lead writer/co-creator on Bricolage Production Company’s immersive urban adventures OjO and STRATA, and DODO with Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette named STRATA the best play of 2012. OjO premiered as part of the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh and received its West Coast premiere as part of the La Jolla Playhouse Without Walls Festival. It was named a top-ten production of 2014 by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and a top-five production of 2015 by the San Diego Union-Tribune. Locally in Pittsburgh, Ms. Cody’s plays have been produced at Quantum Theatre ("Fat Beckett" and "Inside Passage") The August Wilson Center ("The Sisters Grey"), and The Pittsburgh Playhouse ("Prussia: 1866" and "The Alchemists’ Lab").
