INTERNATIONAL TRADE: LETTER OF CREDIT & INCOTERMS

A letter of credit is one of the several tools used as a method of payment in International trade. However, it distinguishes itself by its character of double protection to the exporter and importer. This seminar will discuss about the rules and regulations of an L/C along with Incoterms 2010. The most common documents required in an export or import letter of credit will be outlined.

The Ohio Small Business Development Center at Columbus State Community College provides entrepreneurial development assistance and high end business consulting to start-up and emerging business owners in Central Ohio, including Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Licking, Logan, Madison, Pickaway, and Union counties.The Center’s services are offered at "no cost" for consulting services and most training sessions.
