About this event

Every year 30,000 contestants around the world step up to begin their hopeful climb toward the World Championship of Public Speaking in August, this year in Nashville. It all begins with the club contest.

Held alongside is the Evaluation Contest, which will culminate in a District Champion in the Spring.

Come enjoy the talents of those who have stepped up to compete--with the support of a whole crew of volunteers making the contest possible behind-the-scenes.

Organizer of International Speech and Evaluation Club Contests

Professionally Speaking is an advanced Toastmasters club for those who have completed Pathways Level 2 or their Competent Communicator award. If you're new to Toastmasters, many regular clubs meet locally. To find one near you, visit www.toastmasters.org

The public is welcome to visit club meetings, which take place the first Thursday of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., to see what Toastmasters can do for them. Currently the club is meeting via Zoom. Visit the contact links at the club website - www.prospeakerclub.com - to request a visitor Zoom link.

When we can meet in person again, the club plans to return to its venue in the community meeting room, downstairs at the Poulsbo branch of the Kitsap Regional Library, 700 NE Lincoln Rd, Poulsbo 98370

Professionally Speaking Toastmasters is a part of Toastmasters District 32, which encompasses Western Washington from Federal Way to Chehalis as well as the Kitsap, Key and Olympic Peninsulas, as well as clubs throughout Alaska.
