WORKSHOP 3- "Behavior, Discipline and Resilience: What Caregivers Need to Know about the Latest Research" with Rebecca Thompson-Hitt MS, MFT

As parents and caregivers, we’re often charged with the responsibility of teaching children appropriate behaviors and guiding their learning process. Through the latest findings in neuroscience, attachment, and resilience research, we’re discovering critical keys to supporting children to develop the necessary skills to support lifelong well-being as they learn social norms. And it’s not your parent’s understanding of discipline. This information is especially important for the children who have the most behavioral challenges, but is also helpful for kids who are considered much easier. Come learn about the latest findings and tools to help you see behaviors in a new light.

Rebecca holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University and has been studying attachment and trauma since 1997. She trained as a hypnotherapist with the Wellness Institute and Psychoneuroimmunology with Dr. Art Martin.
