The historic event includes the celebration of the 100 year legacy of the contributions and influences of African America’s Greatest Jazz Composers on Broadway, with musical and spoken tributes to Cab Calloway, Louis Jordan, Mary Lou Williams, Hugh Masekela, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonius Monk, Fats Waller, J.C. Johnson, Billie Holiday, Eubie Blake, Noble Sissle, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan Louis Armstrong, Billy Strayhorn performed by New York’s Brightest Broadway and Cabaret Jazz Stars.

Three Time Grammy Award Winning Broadway Choral Arranger Chapman Roberts assembles alumni of his Broadway hits such as “Bubbling Brown Sugar”, “Your Arm’s Too Short To Box With God”, “Eubie”, “Five Guys Named Moe” and “Smokey Joe’s Café”

Longineu Parsons, Trumpet, Clyde Bullard, Bass, Ray Naccari, Keyboards, Greg Barrett, Sipho Kunene, Kendall Claggett- Percussion. Other Black Stars of The Great White Way invitees include vocalists Alyson Williams, Kirk Taylor, Jermaine Coles, Cynthia Scott, Derrick Alton, Yolande Bavan, Dakota McLeod, Natalie Carter - Prince, Bertilla Baker, Andrea Frierson, Raun Ruffin, Tina Fabrique, Rome Neal, Gary Holmes, Al Copley, Jeffery Thompson, Byron Utley - Pianists Frank Owens, David Alan Bunn, William Foster McDaniel, Jeff Laibson - Contemporary Tap Wizard Omar Edwards, and others subject to availability.
