Description

Human Rights Day is observed every year on December 10 to commemorate the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the UN General Assembly in 1948. In Tennessee, Human Rights Day is a day to reflect on human rights accomplishments and challenges while joining various human rights organizations and the community. This year's celebration is sponsored by the Family Justice Center, TN Human Rights Commission, City of Chattanooga Office of Multicultural Affairs, Second Life Chattanooga and Unity Group of Chattanooga.
