International Freshman and Transfer Admissions

Understand the basics of international credential evaluation. This hands-on training program will give attendees opportunities to discuss the issues you encounter in international admissions with colleagues and EP's evaluatoin experts. Attendees will work in focus and large-group sessions on a variety of topics.

Topics:

  • Appropriate credentials for international admission and credential evaluation

  • Documentation challenges

  • Understanding secondary school credentials from high-volume countries

  • Appropriate transfer credit methods

  • Strategies for credential research

Audience:

International enrollment managers, international admissions assistant/associate directors, registrars, credit transfer evaluators, international student recruitment teams and administrators who work to enroll international students and need a better understanding of foreign credentials.

Bernard has worked in international education for 11 years. He has presented at various conferences and has conducted credential training workshops for numerous institutions over the years. Bernard has worked to develop EP into a resource for international students and institutions alike, helping admissions offices develop highly reliable practices in credential evaluation.
