The IFL 2020 invites you to Share the Magic of Education

About this Event

Click here for the main IFL website, or carry on and get your tickets now!

The International Festival of Learning (IFL) is an education movement of people, schools, colleges and universities - interconnected with a common mission. The original IFL idea was introduced by a group of school and college leaders in 2015 to a large collaboration of education and business leaders who help steer the development of the festival. The aim is to provide a hub for collaboration between education professionals at all levels, enabled by our steering group members - many of whom are representatives on boards and networks such as CEO and Headteacher networks, Research Bodies, Associations and Charities.

What's the mission?

The common aim through collaboration is to create, support and develop the best possible conditions and cultures for all learners in all contexts. We hope you'll join us!

Who is it for?

Simply put, the festival is for all education and business leaders, teachers, tutors, support staff, parent tutors, trainers and consultants from the UK and around the world. Take a further look and please do get involved!

What does it look like?

The flagship event takes place on the West Suffolk College Campus, boasting more than 150 workshops, demos, keynotes, installations, exhibitions and Teachmeets - embracing a diverse range of subjects to support all age-related sectors.

Schools Showcase

We have already secured examples of good, evidence-led practice from schools - such as innovative use of Lego, China exchange partnerships, Formula 1 STEM links, examples of outstanding Governance, Psychology Partnerships and more - but - we're asking for more examples direct from educational organisations, so if you have something you'd love to show off either as a static exhibition, a workshop or in a Teachmeet - please get in touch by completing our simple online form.

Underpinned by Three Big Questions

  1. What do expert teachers do?
  2. What does World-Class leadership look like?
  3. How are the best cultures created, developed and sustained?

Themes that embrace all subjects

  • SEND Education & Support
  • Global Citizenship & PSHE
  • Mental Health & Wellbeing
  • Leadership, Governance & Strategy
  • Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults
  • Technology for Learning
  • International Cultural Capital

  • and more...

We hope you'll join the movement!
