The International Development Program at RMIT will celebrate the completion (or near completion) of students graduating in 2017 during the ID Student Conference 2017 on 6 October from 2:00 - 7:30 pm at the Industry Engagement Room - 37.03.18.

This is an opportunity to celebrate the completion of a significant ID milestone - the CAPSTONE course - either the IDRP or the Minor Thesis.

For students who are planning to conduct their CAPSTONE in 2018, this is the opportunity for you to better understand the options and the expectations. The Conference will include an Orientation on the Minor Thesis and the IDRP.

  • 2:00 - ID Capstone Orientation (Minor Thesis and IDRP)
  • 3:00 - Afternoon Tea
  • 3:30 - Panel 1: Minor Thesis
  • 4:00 - Panel 2: IDRP (Humanitarian Assistance Projects)
  • 4:45 - Guest Speaker - Belinda Collins is the Major Grants Manager from Save the Children. She will speak on "Getting projects funded "
  • 5:30 - Nibbles and Drinks
  • 5:45 - Panel 3: IDRP (Community Development Projects)
  • 6:30 - Panel 4: IDRP (Monitoring and Evaluation Projects)
