The International Conference on Indonesian Development is created to bridge the gap between academician, policymaker and civil societies.

About this Event

The International Conference on Indonesian Development is an academic conference featuring academician, policymaker and civil society on the forefront of Indonesian Development. Bringing a multidisciplinary approach and perspective of the development in Indonesia.

ICID 2019 is an international conference that will bring the theme of “Inclusive Development in Facing Industry 4.0: Opportunities and Challenges in Indonesia”. This event will comprise several types of activities:

1. Opening Ceremony & Dinner (Sept 19)

2. Keynote Speech (Sept 20 & 21)

3. Panel discussions (Sept 20 & 21)

4. Paper presentations (Sept 20 & 21)

5. Art, craft, and product Exhibition of Indonesia (Sept 20 & 21)

6. Workshops and Special Sessions

7. Wrap-up Discussion (Sept 20 & 21)

8. Closing Ceremony (Sept 21)

ICID will be started by opening speech and dinner encouraging the participants to take part in the conference activities and further take actions towards inclusive development.

The second and third days comprise a key-note speech, two discussion sessions, and several presentation sessions. In the keynote speech, an Indonesian official which we will announce at a later date will give an overview of the existing condition of Indonesian development and the government's vision and mission to build inclusion in development.

Next, participants could join the discussion and presentation sessions to talk about inclusive development from various perspectives with panelists and presenters. For the special sessions, participant will be given the chance to participate by proposing the topics and organizing the sessions. In these special sessions, the papers presented are selected by reviewers, as well as, the sessions’ organizers. Later, participants are also invited to attend the concluding remark in the third day. In the end, one of the conference goals is to build a recommendation for Indonesian development policy, which will be the main agenda of the last day.
