The significant role of management education needs no emphasis as the global business environment today is very dynamic on account of the globalization and the inroads which the technology has made headway into the way business is managed. It is a competitive business landscape and the executives occupying key positions are expected to be totally aware of the trends and developments affecting their business. Further, it is absolutely essential that the executives are supposed to hone their skills to ensure that the decisions which they make are rationale and help attain long-term success of the organization. Undoubtedly, management education plays a central role not only in taking the organizations to the next level of growth but add to the growth and development of the nations where they operate from.
Globalization and its impact on Organization!

An effective management of organizations is very essential to survive in this world of competition. Unless organizations are more efficient, even their survival would be at stake. Technological advancements have made the system more robust and complex, as well. Resource mobility, environmental standards and other stipulations have resulted in cost escalations in many projects. So, prudent management practices only can ensure gaining consumer confidence and profitability in the long-run.
Research in Business Studies – A sine quo non!

The business world is fraught with many challenges. Also, the global business landscape is continuously changing. In order to tackle the future challenges, industry and academic institutions have to jointly engage themselves in meaningful and focused research works that would be helpful to the industry. In other words, the contribution of the academic community to the world of business should be continuous, focused and help them solve their problems.

Against this backdrop, the upcoming conference in the beautiful city of New York aims at helping the global academic fraternity to achieve the following objectives:

a) Identify and analyze the major challenges affecting the global business environment, today;
b) Undertake focused and socially beneficial research activities on contemporary issues affecting the world of business in partnership with the intellectuals hailing from higher educational institutions across the globe;
c) Provide an ideal platform for researchers, economists, bankers & practitioners to network, share their research & practical experiences to develop models and systems for honing the skillsets of graduates pursuing higher education in business schools;
d) Suggest innovative curricula to the schools so that there is clear synchronization between what is required of the business world and how it is addressed by the educational institutions.
