Intermediate Jewelry

This 6 week Intermediate Jewelry workshop is part of a series that will explore a selection of new techniques in more in-depth projects during each session. Students will have a chance to work with new tools, processes and designs to further their jewelry and metalsmithing creativity. Read more below about the projects in this session. Check out upcoming intermediate workshops for other projects.


Mechanism - We will be examining the technique of using metal to create hinges and other mechanism in this class.

Hollow Forms - In this section you will be practicing forming and fabrication techniques to create hollow structures. Soldering large forms, creating containers and incorporating hinge mechanisms into your final piece

*Previous experience require - Intro to Jewelry or comparable workshop

*LIMITED SEATING - Only 5 spots open

Materials included - copper, brass, nickel, sterling silver sheet and wire

Schedule - Every Saturday 2pm - 5pm Mar 4 - April 15 (6 weeks)

*No class April 8

*April 22 - Make up day if class is cancelled
