Event description

Description

Join CAIR-Columbus for a Religious Liberty Luncheon!

Although the Federal and State Constitutions guarantee religious freedom for all people, religious minorities across Ohio face issues of religious discrimination every day. Come hear from our expert panel about what religious discrimination looks like, how to combat it, and what role the legislature has in ensuring that Ohio is a place where people of all faiths feel welcome and safe.

The panel will include:
• Romin Iqbal, CAIR-Columbus Executive and Legal Director
• Gary Daniels, ACLU of Ohio Chief Lobbyist
• Dave Greenspan, State Rep. for Ohio's 16th District

The event will begin at noon in the Statehouse Atrium and will also feature an interfaith prayer. The luncheon is free to attend but those interested must register.

For questions, please contact CAIR-Columbus Government Affairs and Development Coordinator Usjid Hameed at Uhameed@CAIR.com or 614.401.2920.
