Event description

Description

Expect the unexpected as the Cannabis Society does a deep dive with Attorney Tara J. Hopper and Business Consultant Jessica Pelletier into what it takes to complete a cannabis business application. If you're planning on applying for a cannabis license using the new Cannabis Industry Portal developed by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, you won't want to miss this event.

What should you have ready when you apply? How hard is it to get a certificate of good standing from the Secretary of State and Department of Revenue? What is a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and how do I make one for a cannabis product I want to produce? What are the most common roadblocks on applications for small businesses?

Our special guest speakers will be Attorney Tara J. Hopper and Jessica Pelletier with the moderator being Michael Latulippe, President of Cannabis Society and Registered Patient Advisor to the Cannabis Control Commission.

Jessica Pelletier of MJ&CO will go over Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) language and how to develop one based on typical procedures for cannabis product development.

Food & Beverages will be provided, including our group's favorite beverage, sparkling fruit San Pellegrino.

If you're interested in becoming a member of Cannabis Society to get free entry to all of our Cannabis in Motion events as well as access special offers though our iPhone/Android application please apply here: http://cansociety.com/membership/
