Event description

Description

This 3D anatomy and assessment presentation will use the Anatomage software to demonstrate structures in a manner that a text book cannot project in a multidimensional interactive presentation. We will travel along the vasculature, dissect structures and get insight into some of the reasons for pathology that we see in our assessment of neuro patients. The use of case studies will further enhance the experience so that the information is in the real world context.

Featured Presenter: Linda Littlejohns MSN, RN, CNRN, SCRN, FAAN

Ms. Littlejohns is an internationally recognized leader in neuroscience nursing. She is the co-editor of the AANN Core Curriculum for Neuroscience Nurses and has numerous published text books, chapters, and peer reviewed articles. She has presented topics related to neuro patient care and leadership across the globe for 30 years and developed educational DVDs for Anatomy, Assessment, Spinal Cord Injury and Stroke.

This activity has been submitted to the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses for approval to award contact hours. The AANN is accredited as an approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission of Accreditation.

Snacks and lunch will be served. You are welcome to bring food that meets your own special dietary requirements.
