Interaction Strategies to Support Language Development for Early Years
This course must be completed in the following order and workshops need to be booked prior to completing the workbook and video:
- Workbook and accompanying online training video (Time to complete – 1-2 Hours).
- Face to face workshop (Time to complete - 2 ½ hours)
- Virtual online reflection session (Time to complete - 75 mins)
Workbook and accompanying online training video.
A workbook and a link to watch an accompanying video will be sent at the time of the confirmation of the booking. Within the workbook are several activities which MUST be completed prior to attending the face-to-face workshops.
This will be emailed to you after you have booked a place, so please make sure the email address you use to book is one you are able to access.
Face-to-face workshop
Early Years Practitioners will be exploring the strategies shown in the workbook and video in a practical way within a group. It will provide Early Years Practitioners opportunities to enhance their understanding of the topics previously discussed.
Virtual/online reflection session
This is a virtual session to share how Early Years Practitioners have put the strategies into practice and how the adult’s interaction styles with children have changed since attending the course.
