The 2017 Intendence Film Festival (IFF)
On Friday and Saturday, June 23 - 24, we will be screening films from Colorado and the rest of the world at the Open Media Foundation’s (OMF) Denver Open Media (DOM) Studios, 700 Kalamath St, Denver, CO. The festival includes an opening night red carpet and post-screening Q&A sessions. Both are live-broadcast via cable and Internet web streaming from DOM’s television studio facilities. There will be an after-party both evenings following the Q&A’s. An Awards Brunch will be held on Sunday, June 25.
Intendence is a community-focused experience held in late June at the Open Media Foundation in the heart of Denver’s Santa Fe Arts District. Our absolute desire is to engender a festive atmosphere where both filmmakers and the film-viewing public can connect, communicate, and have a remarkable time.
As actors and filmmakers who have chosen to live in Colorado, we are inspired to highlight the extraordinary skills of local writers, producers, filmmakers, and artistic talent while attracting first-rate storytellers from all over the world. The very best of their film submissions are selected by a team of experienced judges and screened during the Festival.
Categories are: Animation, Art-Experimental, Feature, Short, Documentary, Documentary-Short, Music Video, Fantasy/Science Fiction/Horror, and Webisode. Awards will be given for best movie in each of these categories plus additional awards for Student or Young Filmmaker, Colorado Filmmaker and additional specialized categories.
Entries are being accepted through May 12th.
