Join us on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15th for the 9th installment of Intellectual Fight Club! This is our final event of the year.
Once again we will open the gates and present ordinary people giving their all in the most demanding competition on the planet: a chessboxing fight!
There are 3 fights scheduled. As always, the fights are hard, the chess games are wild and, the venue will be on fire! The bar will be open during and after the event.
You never know what to expect in any given chessboxing match, and these fights are no exception!

Save money by buying tickets here! Box Office tickets (Abendkasse) are considerably more expensive and there is always a chance we may sell out beforehand.

Chessboxing is a rare blend of contrasting skills, where the physical strength of boxing meets the mental concentration of chess. The athlete takes the balance of body and mind to a new extreme. In the ring, the fighter is fuelled by testosterone, adrenaline and skill, three minutes later he/she must change battlegrounds to focus and outwit his/her opponent on the chessboard.
Intellectual Fight Club is a series of urban amateur chessboxing events which began in May of 2015. We like to think of Intellectual Fight Club as the little brother of our professional world championship series Intellectual Fight Nights, and because of this, these chessboxing events are much smaller and rougher!
