About this Event

On September 26, Jerry R. Bautista, Vice President, Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software and General Manager, Intel Roadmap Operations and Communication, will give an overview of Intel's transformational corporate strategy. There have been many changes in leadership and product direction over the last decade - ranging from a new CEO to drones, Internet of Things, and Smart Cars. In a lively presentation and Q&A format, here's your chance to get an inside look at Intel's current key focus areas and growth expectations.

A one-hour networking reception will follow the presentation. Coffee, non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks will be served. Tickets are $10 per person.

About Our Speaker:

Jerry R. BautistaVice President, Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software and General Manager, Intel Roadmap Operations and Communication

Jerry leads the Intel Roadmap Operations and Communications (IROC) team chartered with managing and communicating Intel’s overall product roadmap. Prior to joining IAGS, Jerry led the New Devices Group which had P&L responsibility for all of Intel’s wearable products. Prior to NDG, Jerry led the New Business Initiatives team, an internal incubator for new business creation. Jerry brings more than sixteen years of Intel experience spanning Intel Labs research/technology management to new business creation and large scale P&L.

Prior to joining Intel he was CTO of a Silicon Valley startup (an Intel Capital portfolio company) and before that more than ten years in systems and components Basic Research at Bell Laboratories as well as Marketing and Sales at Lucent Technologies. Jerry also led factory operations in Lucent’s optical fiber manufacturing factory in Atlanta. Jerry has a BS from Stanford and a PhD from Princeton University, both in Chemical Engineering. He is married with four children and four dogs. Jerry is an avid soccer player, likes to work on cars and fills his home with Maker projects that drive his family nuts.
