Program Objectives

  1. Explore nursing research and evidence-based practice as it relates to patient and nurse safety.
  2. Compare relevant nursing research and evidence-based practice findings.
  3. Analyze the role of the nurse in integrating research and evidence-based outcomes to provide safe patient care.
  4. Describe evidence-based strategies that promote safety for patients and nurses.

Contact Hours

6.25 contact hours will be provided to RNs. Successful completion requires attendance at the entire program and completion/submission of an evaluation form.
