8:30 AM - 5:00 PMDeveloped by Great Kids, Inc, this course is considered basic training for all Healthy Families Home Visitors, Program Managers & Supervisors to ground them in the Healthy Families program model. Strategies on how to apply services to program participants are practiced in response to scenarios. In order to build strong family functioning, value clarification, goal planning and problem solving skills are explored. Attachment, cues, brain development, and empathy are studied to help home visitors promote positive parent child relationship and healthy childhood growth and development. Sample documentation is reviewed as well as common boundary issues.
Cost of 4-day course: $540.00 per person
*Price includes $40 for 2013 Integrated Strategies Manual
(It is a requirement for each person attending the training to purchase a 2013 Training Manual.)
*Cost includes snacks and drinks
*All travel arrangements and meals are the responsibility of the local site.
$590 for 5 day course (including extra day for supervisors).
