Integrated Person-Centered Planning and Treatment for Co-Occurring SMI and...
Tue, Apr 25, 2017, 9:30 AM – Wed, Apr 26, 2017, 3:30 PM EDT
This training will focus on the evidence-based practice of integrated treatment for co-occurring substance use disorders, with special attention to the topics of stagewise assessment and treatment, including the use of harm reduction and application of motivational spirit. We will also include a training on person-centered planning specific to the context of providing ACT services to those with co-occuring substance use challenges.
This training is primarily directed towards Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams, but we invite other community mental health providers working with adults with severe mental illness with co-occurring disorders in a community setting. We also welcome attendance by managed care organization UM staff.
